Raised in Palermo,Sicily, Michele Galifi developed an early love for pizza making and cooking in his father’s restaurant. After earning a degree in engineering in Palermo, he decided to move to Los Angeles in hopes to someday bridge the time honored traditions he learned from his father with the creative new ideas he had himself. With his deep-rooted passion for Sicilian food and his innovative approach, he has opened restaurants and recently opened his 3rd in September 2025, a one of a kind restaurant in the Arts District in Los Angeles, CA called Bianca Sicilian Trattoria.
