Food for Thought with Karen and Ernest is a podcast celebrating the art of dining — where food, culture, and community collide. From the kitchen to the vineyard, the farm to the table, we explore the people, passions, and stories that feed us all. New episodes drop every Wednesday at 12PM PST on YouTube and Spotify.

The show got its start on KBLA Talk 1580 AM, the leading Black talk radio station in Los Angeles. Tavis Smiley, founder and Chief Visionary Officer of KBLA, said it best when he brought Karen and Ernest aboard: “We always knew we wanted to add a food show to our lineup, but we were searching for the right blend. Karen and Ernest are exactly what we were looking for.”

From those radio roots, the show has grown into a full podcast experience — bringing the same elevated culinary conversations to a global audience.
