Shireen Imani is a serial entrepreneur rooted in hospitality, known for building concepts that blend culture, community, and elevated design. Raised by immigrant parents, she was introduced to the restaurant industry at a young age, helping run her family’s businesses and developing a deep understanding of operations from the ground up. She refined her experience working across all levels of restaurant management, gaining a reputation for her sharp instincts and ability to create seamless, high-quality guest experiences on her search for finding community in Los Angeles and New York City. In 2018, Shireen founded Chulita in Los Angeles, returning to her roots with a neighborhood restaurant concept grounded in authenticity and intention. Originally launched as an all-women-operated space, Chulita quickly gained recognition for its vibrant atmosphere, thoughtful menu, and strong sense of identity. Under her leadership, Chulita has earned a Michelin Bib Gourmand and recognition as one of the top restaurants in California. Shireen is known for her ability to build brands that resonate, combining operational excellence with a distinct creative vision.
